I am one month old already

I am already in my 2nd month now. My diet has changed now. Would you like to know my diet:

Breakfast - Milk
Lunch - Milk
Snack time - Milk
Dinner - Milk
Supper - Milk
Other times - Milk

Not much choice, ah? Anyway, if my grandfather doesn't get my milk ready on time I will scream at the top of my voice. They know that. That's why they will prepare it in advance. My grandfather is so scared of my cry, that he will be awake the whole day and night waiting to feed me. I sleep with my grandmother (nanamma). If she is attending any other work, other than carrying me, I will show the power of my voice to her. She is soooo scared of me, hehehehe. I don't want to talk much about my mom and dad because, I am still getting to know them. Poor souls, they think I am innocent. They don't realise that I can understand everything and anything.
That's it from me for now. I will keep you updated about my progress. Time for my milk. Where is my grandfather?

  1. Hai Jayden,
Please inform your mother & father please do something for yourself. "Dad my nails are growing, because they are scratching my face. If you don't trim my nails I will scratch you." If you don't know I 'll tell you how to trim my nails.

The best time to do this is while I am sleeping. Another good time is right after my bath, when my nails are at their softest.

Make sure you have enough light to see what you're doing. Use a pair of baby scissors or clippers made especially for the purpose. Press the finger pad away from the nail to avoid nicking the skin, and keep a firm hold on my hand as you clip.

Cut fingernails along the curve of the finger. Cut toenails straight across. Then use an emery board to smooth out any rough edges. In fact, if you're patient and my nails aren't too long, you can skip clipping them altogether and simply file them to the right length with an emery board.
    Note:-
(Some parents bite their baby's nails into shape, but if you do, you run the risk of introducing germs from your mouth into any little cut your baby may have on his finger. You also won't be able to see what you're doing, and you'll find that your baby's finger is minute compared to your teeth!).
